Description & fit

This piece had been on my to-make list for a long time. A short skirt, but not a wrap skirt. You all know the BALLET wrap skirts by now, of course. One of the summer bestsellers for several years in a row. Now I've made an airy little skirt in the same fabric, with an elastic waistband. This Dreamer mini skirt has a classic look with a twist and combines beautifully with lots of tops. It's perfect to throw on for the beach, a stroll through the city, or a warm summer evening on a terrace. Once again a versatile piece you'll enjoy for years!

A new design! Yess another one! This new DREAMER mini skirt is super air and light, yet you will be safe and won’t have problems with that ‘marilyn Monroe effect’… if you know what I mean.

This skirt has an elastic waiste band, is short but not too short and is just another classic with a twist piece you will love for years! If you know the BALLET wrap skirt, this new skirt is made of the same material. You can wear this skirt to many occasions. To the beach, for a city stroll, on a hot summer night for a dinner… you name it.

Material & care

Wash the garment at 30 degrees, don't bleach it, hang it to line dry, don't dry clean it and iron at 1-2 dots.

Handwash this piece 30 degrees, don’t bleach it, let it line dry, don’t use chemicals while cleaning/washing and iron between 1-2 points.

Lara designs and sews every piece herself in the atelier in Middelburg. Made-to-order pieces are made for you after you order; the delivery time is shown on the product.

Delivery time

Within the Netherlands your order usually arrives within 5 working days, in Belgium and Germany within about 7 working days. I only make made-to-order pieces once you order them; their delivery time is always shown with the product. Need something by a certain date? Just email me beforehand at info@lzwaan.com.

Payment & invoice

You pay securely at checkout. You'll receive your invoice digitally by email, with your order number on it – handy if you'd like to exchange or return something.

Exchanges & returns

How does it work?

Would you like to exchange or return something? No problem: within 14 days of receiving your order, email the following information to info@lzwaan.com:

your first and last name as on the invoice, and your order number;
which garment you'd like to exchange (and for what) or return;
briefly why the garment wasn't right – maybe you're not the only one, and I can do something about it.

After your email, you have 14 days to send the garment back in its original condition, at your own cost, to:

Please note

Please return the garment neatly, with the hang tag still attached.
Return shipping is at your own cost. The purchase price and the shipping costs from ZWAAN to your address will be refunded within 14 days of your return notification.
Of course you may try the garment on, but please return it undamaged – I check this on arrival.
Leave the tag on while trying the garment on and only remove it once you're sure you're keeping it. Without the tag I can't accept an exchange or return.
If a returned product is damaged, compensation may be charged.

Packaging

Open the packaging carefully so it can be reused. I think it's a shame when boxes aren't reused – for larger orders I often give boxes a second life myself.
Sending something back? If possible, use the original packaging and tape it securely.
Write the return address on a note that you can stick over your own address.

Size chart

I make everything myself, following a fixed size system. In this chart you'll find the body measurements for each size, plus the lengths of the sweaters – so you can see right away whether a regular or a TALL size suits you best.

Chest, waist and hip are body measurements in cm. *Sleeve length and length (also in cm) are measured on the sweater – so these are the lengths you'll get.

TALL sizes are available for the Basic collection: for women from around 174 cm, for men from around 184 cm in height.

How to measure yourself

Chest

Measure around your chest at the fullest point and write down the measurement in cm.

Waist

Measure around your waist: the narrowest part between your hips and ribs. Don't hold your tummy in!

Hip

Measure around your hips at the fullest part of your bottom.

Sleeve length

Measure from the top of your shoulder (where your collarbone ends) to just past your wrist bone, or to where you'd like the sleeve to end. Bend your elbow slightly to allow a little extra room.

Length

Measure from the highest point of your shoulder (where your neckline begins) straight down to where you measured your hips – usually a few centimetres below your belt.

Which size should you choose?

Compare your measurements with the chart. Chest and hip are more important than your waist. Found your size? Then look at the lengths: does a regular or a TALL size suit you better?

The EU sizes in the table are a guide, converted from chest and hip measurements. Some pieces are labelled with their EU size directly (for example 38 or 38-TALL). The product description always tells you how a piece fits.
